In basketball practice does the team run first, weight lift, or do drills? If so in what order?

I hope these details can make the question a lot more easier to understand.
When a basketball team practices, in what order do they do cardio, weight lifting, pylometrics, and drills?

Here is my order of practice

Day one
Stretching
Lift some weights

Day two
Stretching
Running

Day three
Stretching
Basketball Drills

Day four
Stretching
Shooting only

Day five
Repeat Day one

Day six
REST

Day seven
Stretching
Play Basketball pick-up games

In the NBA, it’s up to the individual player and what works best for him. All teams do at practice is a few shooting drills and walkthroughs or scrimmages. Players are expected to lift weights, run, and do whatever else they need to do to say in shape on their own time.

Every coach is different so there isn’t a standard practice routine. Generally, you are probably going to start off with some stretching and running. The majority of practice is typically taken up with drills, learning/practicing plays, and scrimmaging.

Weight lifting isn’t usually part of practice. The coach might schedule some time in the weight room, but lifting is usually something you need to do on your own. I wouldn’t advise lifting weights before practice though, it makes it really hard to shoot with any accuracy.
