O.K. Real Talk..You …
O.K. Real Talk..You had a great time in Tampa seeing your family watch you play didn’t you? You’re an east coast guy so you and I know you won’t be happy playing in the central part of the US where the weather is cold and rainy in the spring. You don’t have to wear a winter coat or stay inside in April living in Tampa as you found out. You wanna go to the NBA right? USF will have the NBA’s top GM Joe Dumars at all your practices and games. Btw every USF game is on one of the ESPN networks too.

Coach Tom Penders …
Coach Tom Penders number one love is players out of the Juco ranks because there the ones that work harder. In Houston you will make it to the NBA because in Conference USA you would own it in your two years here. Imagine the monster stats you will put while helping Houston go to the NCAA tourney and help us win a Ncaa Championship. Youw ould be a king in Houston if you take out us to the tournament because we haven’t been there in a while. Everyone in Houston cares about University of Houston.

Come to USF Jarrid!! You only have 2 years to play in college so you have to go where you’ll start and get 30+ minutes per game. You won’t get that at Mizzou where they have a guy named Justin Safford who looked good the other night and will start next year.
USF will have 4 3pt shooters, 2 pass first PGs, and a bigtime SG on it’s roster next season. That is a Big Man’s dream lineup.
Also you are young like me and Columbia, Missouri can’t compare to Tampa, FL if you know what I mean.

Come to conference USA and helps us beat Memphis. You get a chance to play against a top team like Memphis with all their NBA prospects coming in next year. ESPN will televise some of our games next year.

Jarrid,
If you want to have an unbelievable college basketball experience, Mizzou is by far the best choice. You will be a starter at the 5-spot from day one, and will have a great cast of experienced, unselfish teammates to play with. The Final Four is in reach if you come to Mizzou next year. I know you got a taste of the atmosphere at “The Zou” on your vist, when Mizzou smoked OU. It is only going to get better next year if you join the squad. If you thought the OU atmosphere was wild, just wait until you suit up in black and gold and beat down the Kansas Jayhawks on Big Monday. It is going to be BANANAS in the Zou next year!

Jarrid,
I am sure you read all of these pleas. They all look pretty pathetic. I believe you know where you belong. You know where you will be taken care of by alumni close to your home for the rest of your life. You know where you will get to play with the best players and be helped by former NBA players and former NBA assistants. You know that USF gets about 800 fans for their games. You know that you are too good for Conference USA. You know that only 2 schools are worth your time. The question I don’t know the answer to is which one is best for you. And remember this is about YOU. Not your outside influences. IT is about YOU! You and your family will need to live with your decision. Good Luck and God Bless.

Jarrid, at Mizzou you will just be another player on a loaded roster… At seton hall you will be a star, you will gain the attention of the NYC metropolitan area and will stand out as one of our best players, perfect for the NBA scouts to see. A team like Mizzou has plenty of NBA caliber players. Do you want to just fit in unnoticed at Mizzou or do you want to stand out as one of the best big men in the BIG EAST and make a career out of basketball…
Seton Hall is the way to go man… think about it

Jarrid, to tell you the truth, if you 35+ minutes don’t come to Mizzou. But, if you want to be considered a force in a big time league, on a big time team, go to the big dance twice, be watched on national television constantly, have your name recognized by many fans, go high in the nba draft b/c of your size and scoring, come to mizzou. If you think safford is going to start over you trust me that won’t happen, he might start with you though, but not take your points b/c he is just not a scorer. At mizzou you will be playing on a team that actually went somewhere, seton hall, usf, and houston did not even make it to the nit and don’t think you will change them b/c you will score in bunches, get rebounds, do everything right, but who else will. At seton hall that kid hazel is a ball hog, he won’t give you the rock, but at mizzou you will score a lot, but see other hard workers b/c they want to win. You make the decision, I am just here to help you make to help you make the right one.

Jarrid, only two schools will be good for you and that is it. Arizona or Mizzou. Pick what you want to pick man, it is up to you. I would prefer you pick Mizzou, but if you go to Arizona you could also be a star. This is coming from a Xavier fan. Xavier is good also.

With Keon, Herb, and Jeff added to the likes of Jeremy and Stix, Seton Hall will be sick with you on the low-post…the NY/NJ stage is at the fingertips of the Hall and a chance to play in the best conference in the country…looking forward to seeing you in SHU blue next year…

Mizzou was just one game away from the final four. With a big guy like Jarrid, they can have a good chance to make it to the final four. Mizzou is the place to go. Great school, Great Football, Great Basketball, Great Academics and Great atomosphere. Jarrid would get a lot of attention at Mizzou and a lot of exposure.

Jarrid,
Mizzou is the place to go, You will get so much publicity at this school and playing in the Big 12 conference which sent 6 schools to the NCAA tournament. Mizzou won the Big 12 and could have easily made it to the final 4 and won the whole thing with a big guy like you. The media attention is insane at Mizzou

Ok guys….
Mizzou had a great year but has absolutely 0 basketball tradition…so do yourself a favor and dont go to Mizzou…Seton Hall happens to be a team in an amazing basketball conference….and this year the big east was the best conference…but the best overall conference by far is the Pac-10…They have nearly 400 national championships more than double the second most by the Big 10…even with mediocre results the past 3 years, Arizona has made the NCAA…Arizona has great weather, woman, and tradition, and they play in the conference of champions….the pac-10…clearly the best conference in the country…Make a smart decision, go to Arizona.

Seriously Famous if you come to Arizona and have that “Arizona” across your chest!! It will pay dividends!! I mean we have probably the most players in the NBA and you would be next too add to that list, plus seriously Mizzou??? No seriuosly Mizzou!! I hope you do not ruin it for yourself, they are not a household name and have not won a title! With us you will have the best of both worlds, A nationally recognized program that has won a national title and the glory that comes with it. Believe me after you are done at the BigAz you will be seeing a lot of $$$$$$!! Go Cats and Famous We need you!!

Mizzou is the best choice for you. You are nba bound anyway,if you would like 2 ncaa titles missouri is where to go. You may win a nit with seton hall or a round of 32 loss with Arizona, keon lawrence left mizzou for seton hall and what a mistake, he blew his tournament chance. You and missouri would have spanked uconn and N.C by 20. Arizona lost about 14 games last year.

with all do respect, Mizzou over Arizona? I know you are not crazy, only a fan hoping to continue the good streak you guys had this year….one year in a row you guys had a good team!!! and you are right, Arizona did lose 14 games this year, and yeah we did have an easier route to the round of 16 than most others, but a player chosing by simply a name and or program history would clearly choose Arizona over Missoui. And what games were you watching this year? ?beat NC and UCONN by 20?….not a chance…talk about a cup cake non conference schedule..Arkansas pine bluff, Prairie View, Stetson and Murray State…At least our 14 losses were to six teams who made the NCAA’s!

Jeremy,
with all due respect, I think you are a douchey bitch and Famous might come to either one of our schools. I feel that Mizzou right now is way better than AZ and we lost to NCAA teams. You posted all the cupcakes on our schedule, how about I post yours: Florida Atlantic, Mississippi Valley State, a loss to UAB, Santa Clara by 3, Northern Arizona, Loyola Marymount…At least our seven losses came from five NCAA teams b/c we actually beat other NCAA teams and lost to two NIT teams, no shame in that. And at least we put up a fight in our Elite Eight loss to UCONN instead of losing by 40 to Louisville in the Sweet Sixteen. There is no excuse for losing 14 games, other than you sucked that year.

“theman”..
the only thing “douchey” about anything that has been posted on this page is the name “theman” first of all. and thank you for pointing out that Mizzou RIGHT NOW is better than AZ is RIGHT NOW…you should change your screenname to Captain Obvious….I will go ahead and point out the obvious as well..Mizzou will go back to being mediocre next year, AZ will be sub-par for the next couple years but still manage to make the tournament…My original posting (just in case you cannot read) I will translate: I was pointing out that any basketball player, at least 99.9% of the best prep players would chose an AZ over a Missouri in a heartbeat…this year was a great year for Mizzou, but a player chosing a program simply based on one year of success as opposed years of history and accomplishments, not to mention the most players drafted to the NBA since the draft went to 2 rounds in 1989, not to mention the most active players from any college in the NBA right now; most would consider chosing a Mizzou over AZ, a bad move. However, in the rare cases in which a USF, lures a juco player like famous to their school, good for them. He will go there, underachieve, and then wish he went to a school that played in a power conference…The part about playing a cup cake non-conference schedule was directed at the bone head who said they could beat NC and UCONN by 20….not many teams beat up on those teams this year and that was pretty much a retarded statement…AZ did lose to Louisville by 40, you are right. We got our #$% handed to us, but that does not change the fact that if there were two bubble teams one AZ and one Mizzou, AZ is getting in the tournament, not Mizzou. So, in summary, Mizzou had a great year, talk trash when they have two in a row, or maybe three in a row, and maybe someone will listen.
theman

The fact that you said if there were AZ and Mizzou bubble teams, the committee would choose AZ is not true at all. It all comes down to who was the better team that year. But, with all that said since the committee has no basketbal people, they would choose AZ just to keep the streak alive.
