villanova (the 8 seed and still lowest seed to win it all) needed to play a perfect game to win, and they did. they shot 90 percent in the ssecond half. it was a team that was never even considered to win a national title. it was a rag tag team that played a perfect game and won it all. if you say its not the greatest upset of all time, then sir you simply are just ignorant.

Louisville Cardinals took this championship from Houston by wearing them out in the SemiFinal. Houston would have killed NC State (like Louisville did earlier in the season) without having to beat Louisville first.

This was the best team that never won the championship. They should have won this game, and, if Clyde returned, they would have had a better shot the next year against Georgetown.

And, if Clyde returns, maybe the Blazers take Jordan instead of Bowie, leaving Sam for the Bulls and Clyde for the Mavericks, who picked after the Bulls in 1984.
