Following Tech that year was truly something special. Ismail Muhammad was simply incredible, one of the best in-game dunkers ever. He was a great defender too. That team was so much fun to watch. Jack, Elder, Bynum… the whole crew.

I can’t get tired of watching that video. Still can’t believe how good this TEAM was! Without a doubt, the best team that year, even better than UConn. Okafor & Co simply played a great first half and were able to neutralize the small game. If these players were playing in this 2007 field, I’d actually say no one could stop them. Memphis? UNC? UCLA? Come on! Non of these teams can hang on to a close game like these Jackets!

CPH said he sees a lot of Anthony McHenry in Gani Lawal, except that Gani is much more athletic and a better rebounder. A-McHenry is exactly the kinda guy this team needs.
