how to get better at basketball?

k so first off i made the junior basketball team. Im really happy but the only thing that makes me mad are the practices, i have practice 4 times a week and mondays are day offs but wednesdays i have morning practices. it makes me mad cuz i have little stamina and i get tired after a simple drill, im not fat but i have more muscle. i can play decent its just my stamina thats gonna hold me down, will i improve my stamina by the end of my season and get more slim? right now i am sweating buckets after practices and my throat is really dry but it seems like im sorta improving on my stamina. the season ends on feb 20. will i be good by then with my stamina and weight ? and any tips for my stamina ? because i have practice tomorrow morning

Yes your stamina will improve only if you are giving it your all at practice even if you are exhausted. DONT STOP RUNNING AND PLAYING HARD!!!!!!
