    shaq is the best …
shaq is the best center all time at his prime when he got the 3 rings. He was unstoppable.

    I like how you …
I like how you mentioned Wes Unseld and Dave Cowens, small centers, but could still put a punch on a big man… Lets not forget Nate Thurmond. The only player to collect quadruple double.

    Willis Reed was …
Willis Reed was awesome against Wilt and Kareem in the early 70s. Too bad his career was so short.

    Of the greatest …
Of the greatest centers of all time, Moses was the most blue collar. Fans back then loved him, but today’s fans won’t understand how good he was. Same goes w/ Wes Unseld and Dave Cowens, blue collar Cs that the modern fan overlooks.

    Yeah Walton is …
Yeah Walton is incredibly underrated. He didnt play much but when he did he got the job done. I think Hakeem had the most finesse. Shaq is overrated I think and I dislike his style. Kareem is definately number one.. with strict competetion from Wilt.

    I like your list …
I like your list and for the most part is pretty good, however this would be a more accurate rating:

    1) Jabbar (offensive)
    2)Chamberlain (incredibly dominant)
    3)Shaq (incredibly dominant as well)
4)Olajuwon (best post moves of all centers)
    5)Russell (Defensive minded,rebounder)
    6)Moses (rebound machine)
7)Walton (great passer, all around center)
    8)Ewing (offensive and defensive threat)
    9)Robinson (athletic, tenacious defender)
    10)Mikan (dominant for his time)

    LOL”… youngster’s …
LOL”… youngster’s, dwight Howard would be riding the bench behind Moses Malone he was a beast on the boards and played real defense, not just jumping and blocking shots, he made players regret going inside the paint.

    shaq also had a …
shaq also had a little guy named kobe on his team so thats kinda a big deal.. what happened when Hakeem played Shaq in the Finals? Olajuwon swept him and Shaq has had nothing but the utmost respect for the Dream ever since.. Shaq wishes he had Hakeem skill set along with every other center to ever play the game

    I’ve wondered this …
I’ve wondered this myself. Why he doesnt get talked about more…? I still think he’s behind wilt, kareem, hakeem, maybe shaq and russell 2. Nonetheless he was great

    1) Jabbar
    2) …

    1) Jabbar
    2) Chamberlain
    3) Russell
    4) Olajuwon
    5) Shaq
    6) Moses
    7) Robinson
    8) Ewing
    9) Mikan
    10) Walton

You ask Bill Walton, David Robinson, Patrick Ewing, and Shaq who the best Center they’ve ever played against is:

    Hakeem the Dream

Moses and Dream trained together when Hakeem was at UH. He was giving MVP Moses competion when he was 18 yrs old. Love Moses for his training

    Wow, not even close …
Wow, not even close? Aside from Wilt, which of the other 2 u named have as many rebound titles? Moses is a 3-time MVP (Shaq only 1ce) & an NBA Finals MVP (Wilt only did that 1ce too like Moses) . Moses is 3rd all-time n rebounds behind only Wilt & Russell, but he has more boards than Kareem & Shaq. Moses’ 76ers team only lost 1 game n the postseason the year they won the chip, ONLY Shaq can boast that claim, not Wilt, not Russell, not Kareem, not Hakeem. Moses not even close? I disagree.

    Cause everything he …
Cause everything he has accomplished in his great career, isnt even close to the other great centers such as wilt, kareem, shaq and such. In my books top 5 but not the greatest.

    Yes sir, you are …
Yes sir, you are right in a sense. Moses would put the ball up as fast as he could and then tap it in when it missed. He made his living out of his quickness off the floor.

    It amazes me how …
It amazes me how this guy flies under the radar, 3-time MVP, Finals MVP, he averaged 30 & 10 in a season, led the league in rebounding 6 times AND NOBODY TALKS ABOUT THIS GUY AS BEING THE BEST CENTER EVER, nobody.

    He misses his shots …
He misses his shots on purpose to get more offensive rebounds
